The Secret Garden of Starlight Pool

Behind Maya's house grew an ancient papaya tree with golden fruits that glowed like tiny suns at dusk. One evening, while collecting fallen fruit, Maya spotted something strange—a shimmering cable that seemed to hum with magic, stretching from her garden fence into the mysterious forest beyond.

"What do you think it is?" asked Leo, her best friend, peering through his magnifying glass like a proper spy. "Maybe it leads to treasure!"

"Or adventure!" added little Sam, clutching her stuffed rabbit.

Together, the three friends followed the glowing cable past firefly-lit paths and singing streams until they reached the most magical sight any of them had ever seen—a pool of starlight, its waters sparkling with constellations reflected from above. By its edge grew more papaya trees, their leaves whispering secrets in the breeze.

"Whoa," breathed Leo, forgetting all about being a spy.

An old woman appeared as if from moonlight itself. "Welcome, young explorers." She smiled, offering them slices of the sweetest papaya they'd ever tasted. "I've been waiting for friends who love wonder as much as I do."

She showed them how to play padel with magical racquets that made flowers bloom wherever the ball touched the ground. They laughed and played under the stars, not noticing time passing.

"This place needs protection," the woman whispered. "Will you be its secret keepers?"

"Yes!" they all shouted.

"But remember," she warned, "magic shared without care fades away. Choose wisely who you trust."

The friends promised. They returned every weekend, playing padel among the stars, eating papayas, and guarding their secret like the most careful spies. But they never told another soul—because true magic, they learned, isn't about showing off. It's about sharing something special with true friends who understand that some secrets are worth keeping.
