The Screen of Green Pyramids
Lily loved her grandmother's stories, but today she was bored. Her grandmother had given her an old, scratched iPhone from a mysterious antique shop. "This belonged to an Egyptian princess," Grandma whispered with a wink. Lily rolled her eyes. Princesses didn't have iPhones!
But that night, as Lily tapped the screen, it didn't show apps or games. Instead, it showed a swirling green mist. Curious, she touched it—and WHOOSH! She tumbled through the screen into a world of emerald pyramids.
The pyramids weren't made of stone. They were made of fresh, glistening spinach leaves, stacked perfectly into triangular shapes. Tiny people danced around them, celebrating the harvest festival.
"Welcome!" said a girl with sparkly eyes. "I'm Princess Amara. Our spinach pyramids feed all the children of the kingdom. Would you like to taste the magical leaves?"
Lily hesitated. She hated spinach! But Amara handed her a leaf that shimmered like a green star. Lily took a tiny bite—and suddenly felt SUPER strong! She could jump higher than ever before.
"The magic works best when you're brave enough to try new things," Amara explained. "Our pyramids remind us that the best gifts sometimes surprise us."
Lily laughed and played with her new friend, learning how spinach helped ancient warriors and modern heroes alike. When it was time to leave, Amara pressed something into Lily's hand—a tiny spinach pyramid charm that glowed softly.
"Remember," Amara said, "the real magic isn't in the phone. It's in being open to new adventures—and new vegetables!"
Back in her room, Lily looked at the spinach charm in her palm. The iPhone's screen showed a normal lock screen again. But at dinner that night, Lily asked for seconds of spinach. And sometimes, when she touched the little green pyramid charm, she could almost hear Princess Amara giggling in the distance.
