The Sand Pyramid Magic
Leo loved building things in his backyard sandbox. One sunny afternoon, he carefully shaped a perfect pyramid out of golden sand, patting it smooth with his small hands.
"What should I put inside my pyramid?" Leo wondered aloud.
His grandmother had just given him a ripe papaya from her garden. Leo took three shiny black seeds and placed them gently in a circle around his sand pyramid. "Magic seeds need magic care," he whispered.
From the corner of his eye, Leo spotted his favorite toy zombie — a green, goofy figure with one button eye. Grampy Zombie wasn't scary at all; he was friendly and loved adventures. Leo placed Grampy Zombie on top of the pyramid like a guardian.
"Watch over my pyramid, Grampy," Leo said, patting the zombie's plastic head with his palm.
That night, something magical happened. Under the moonlight, the papaya seeds sprouted instantly! Tiny green shoots pushed through the sand, growing taller and taller until they became a magnificent palm tree, swaying gently in the breeze.
Grampy Zombie began to glow and move! He climbed down from the pyramid and danced around the palm tree, his button eye twinkling like a star.
"Thank you for believing in magic," the toy zombie seemed to say without speaking.
Leo watched from his window, amazed. The next morning, he found his pyramid still standing, the palm tree full of papayas, and Grampy Zombie resting peacefully at the base.
"Magic happens when you use your imagination and take care of things," Leo's grandmother said when he told her the story.
From that day on, Leo knew that even ordinary things — a sandbox, some seeds, a toy, and a caring heart — could create the most wonderful adventures. The best magic, he learned, was the kind you make yourself, with friends who believe along the way.
