The Rainbow Garden Secret
Lily lived on a farm where the animals could talk, but only she could hear them. Her best friend was Barnaby, a gentle bull with a coat as golden as summer sunshine.
One morning, Lily found Barnaby looking sad. His normally shiny fur had lost its sparkle. "What's wrong, Barnaby?" she asked, patting his warm nose.
"I feel tired, Lily," Barnaby sighed. "My hair is dull, and I don't want to play in the meadow anymore."
Lily's grandmother had told her about a secret garden beyond the rainbow stream where magical flowers grew. They said a special vitamin flower bloomed there only once a year, and its petals could make anyone feel strong and happy again.
"I'll help you!" Lily promised, grabbing her backpack.
She crossed the rainbow stream on stepping stones that hummed with music. In the secret garden, she met Milo, a tiny mouse who guarded the magical flowers.
"Please, Milo," Lily said kindly. "My friend Barnaby needs help."
Milo's whiskers twitched. "The vitamin flower's magic works best when shared with true friends. But you must solve a riddle first."
Lily listened carefully as Milo spoke: 'I have no wings, but I can fly. I have no eyes, but I can see the way. What am I?'
Lily thought hard. Then she smiled. "A dream!"
Milo cheered and gave her the glowing orange flower. Lily rushed back to Barnaby. When the bull ate the magical petals, his golden hair shimmered brighter than ever. He bounded around the field, happy and strong again.
That night, Lily learned something wonderful: the best magic comes from kindness, friendship, and helping those we love. And sometimes, the greatest adventures begin with a friend in need.
