The Rainbow Cable Secret

Lily loved exploring her grandmother's attic. One rainy Saturday, she found something strange coiled in an old wooden box — a shimmering rainbow cable that seemed to glow with its own light.

"What does this do?" Lily wondered. She spotted her dad's old iPhone on a dusty shelf. When she plugged in the rainbow cable, something magical happened. The screen didn't turn on. Instead, a soft golden portal opened right there in the attic!

Curious and brave, Lily stepped through. She found herself in a kingdom where everything was made of delicious papaya — papaya trees with ruby-orange fruits, papaya flowers that smelled like sunshine, even papaya clouds drifting in a purple sky.

Then she saw them. Not scary monsters, but gentle creatures who looked sleepy and slow, with paint-splattered fur and kind eyes.

"A zombie!" a tiny one squeaked, hiding behind a papaya bush. "Don't be afraid! We're not scary. We're just very tired because we stay up all night painting beautiful pictures for our kingdom. That's why people call us zombies — we're always sleepy!"

Lily laughed. "You're not scary at all. I'm Lily. Want to be friends?"

The sleepy painters cheered! They showed her their magical art studio, where papaya juice made the most vibrant paints. Lily painted with them until sunset, creating the most beautiful rainbow.

"Friendship is the best magic," the oldest zombie-artist said, giving Lily a perfect papaya. "Come visit anytime."

When Lily returned home, she kept the rainbow cable safe. Sometimes, on rainy days, she'd plug it in and visit her papaya-painting friends. She learned that sometimes things that seem scary are actually just misunderstood — and that friendship can be found in the most surprising places.

The papaya tasted like sunshine and adventures, and every bite reminded Lily: magic is real, especially when you share it with friends.
