The Pyramid Under the Palm

Maya loved **baseball** more than anything. She practiced every day in her backyard, swinging her bat until her arms tingled, dreaming of hitting home runs like her favorite players. But no matter how hard she tried, the ball always dribbled off her bat and landed in the grass.

One summer afternoon, beneath the swaying **palm** tree in her grandmother's backyard, something extraordinary caught Maya's eye. A small, golden pyramid with mysterious symbols glinted in the sunlight. As she picked it up, the pyramid split open like a flower, revealing tiny, sparkling capsules inside.

"Magical **vitamin**s!" whispered a voice from the pyramid itself. "Each one gives you a special gift. Courage vitamin. Strength vitamin. Focus vitamin. Joy vitamin. Which do you need most?"

Maya's heart raced. Could this be real? But then she thought about her teammates - shy Leo who never believed in himself, confused Sam who kept missing the ball, grumpy Mike who always complained, and anxious Tess who was afraid to try.

"I don't need them," Maya said carefully. "But my friends do. Can I share them?"

The pyramid glowed warmer. "The magic only works when given with love."

So Maya gave them all away - courage to Leo, strength to Sam, focus to Mike, joy to Tess. And something amazing happened: without taking any herself, Maya became the best player she could be, because she had helped her friends become their best too.

That season, her team didn't win every game, but they won something better: they became a family. And Maya learned that true magic isn't in what you keep, but in what you give away.
