The Pyramid's Secret Signal

Leo loved exploring his grandmother's attic. On a rainy Saturday, he discovered something extraordinary—a glowing golden pyramid hidden inside an old dusty box. It wasn't plastic or metal. It felt warm, like sunshine captured in stone.

"What are you?" Leo whispered, turning the pyramid in his hands.

His grandmother appeared in the doorway, smiling. "Ah, the Message Pyramid. It belonged to my grandfather. He said it only reveals its secrets to those with curious hearts."

Leo noticed something strange. A long silver cable curled from the pyramid's base. His grandmother nodded and handed him his dad's old iPhone.

"Connect them," she said. "But remember—magic must be used wisely."

Leo plugged the cable into the phone. The pyramid hummed with light! Symbols danced across the iPhone screen—stars, moons, birds, and mysterious patterns. Then words appeared: "HELP US. WE ARE WAITING."

"Grandma, what does this mean?"

"The pyramid is sending messages through time," she explained gently. "Someone needs your help, Leo. But you must be like a gentle spy—watch, listen, but never cause harm."

The screen showed a map. Leo's heart started running fast with excitement. Messages revealed themselves piece by piece, like a treasure hunt. Each symbol pointed somewhere in the garden.

Outside, the rain had stopped. Leo followed the glowing path on his screen, past the rose bushes and beneath the willow tree. At the very back of the garden, he found something buried—a small metal box containing photographs of children from long ago, each holding a similar pyramid.

"They were friends," Leo realized aloud. "Grandpa's friends. They're saying hello across time."

That evening, Leo sat with his grandmother, looking through the photographs. He learned that the real magic wasn't the pyramid at all. It was friendship—that special connection between hearts that never truly fades, no matter how much time passes.

"The pyramid just helped us remember," his grandmother said, squeezing his hand. "Some bonds are too strong to break."

Leo kept the pyramid on his nightstand. Every night, the silver cable still glowed softly, and sometimes, just sometimes, the iPhone would light up with new messages—not warnings or secrets, but simple words from the past: HELLO, FRIEND, WE REMEMBER YOU TOO.

And Leo would smile, knowing that somewhere, across the years, other children were holding their pyramids tight, sending waves of friendship through time itself.
