The Pyramid's Secret Guardian

Lily splashed through the shallow stream, the cool water tickling her toes. She loved exploring behind her grandmother's cottage, especially on days when the sun painted everything gold.

That's when she saw it—glowing beneath the ripples. A tiny golden pyramid, no bigger than her thumb, pulsing with soft light. She reached for it, and the moment her fingers touched its smooth surface, the water around her began to shimmer.

Suddenly, a magnificent creature appeared beside her—a great bull with fur like storm clouds and horns that gleamed like captured stars. But he wasn't scary. His eyes were kind and ancient.

"You found me," the bull rumbled gently. "I am Orion, keeper of the Sun Pyramid. For a hundred years, I've waited for someone pure of heart."

Lily's eyes widened. "But why were you hiding?"

Orion sighed, and his breath smelled like rain. "The forest is sick. The trees are forgetting how to grow. The birds are forgetting their songs. I hold something they need—star-vitamins from the pyramid's heart. But only a child's belief can unlock them."

He nudged the golden pyramid toward her. "Will you help?"

Lily nodded solemnly. She placed both hands on the pyramid. It grew warm, like holding a piece of sunshine. Suddenly, thousands of tiny glowing crystals spilled into her palms—each one a different color, pulsing with life.

"The star-vitamins!" Orion said joyfully. "Now, sprinkle them wherever the forest needs healing most."

Together, they walked through the woods. Lily scattered the glowing crystals. Where they landed, mushrooms sprouted overnight, flowers bloomed out of season, and a sapling grew three feet in minutes. By the time they reached the old oak tree at sunset, the entire forest was humming with new life.

"Thank you," Orion whispered, lowering his massive head so Lily could pat his soft fur. "Believe in magic, little one. It believes in you."

That night, Lily watched Orion's stars shine brighter than ever through her window. The pyramid sat on her nightstand, still glowing softly, waiting for the next time magic was needed.
