The Pyramid's Secret Game

Lily lived in a dusty town where the only **water** came from a well in the center of the square. Every afternoon, she would toss her **baseball** against the old stone wall and catch it on the rebound. But today, the ball bounced higher and higher, until it disappeared over the desert dunes.

She ran after it, past the line of swaying **palm** trees that marked the edge of town. Suddenly, the golden sands sparkled and shimmered. Before her stood a magnificent crystal **pyramid**, glowing like captured sunlight.

From behind the pyramid stepped a massive creature—a great golden **bull** with kind eyes and horns that curled like scrolls of ancient paper.

"You're finally here," the bull rumbled gently. "We've been waiting for someone to play."

He lifted his front hoof and revealed a baseball field surrounding the pyramid, with bases made of rubies and emeralds. The bull tossed Lily's ball back with surprising grace.

"I'm Buster," said the bull. "Every hundred years, the pyramid opens its magic for one special game. Want to play?"

Lily's eyes shone. She threw the ball, and Buster hit it with his tail. The ball flew into the sky and turned into a shooting star that brought rain to her thirsty town.

They played until sunset, creating magic with every hit. The water from the game flowed toward Lily's village, filling the wells and watering the gardens.

"Thank you, Buster," Lily said as the pyramid began to fade. "Will I ever see you again?"

The bull smiled mysteriously. "Whenever you throw your ball with love and joy, magic happens. Remember that, my friend."

Lily ran home under the first stars, her heart full of wonder. She had learned that the best games are the ones played with kindness, and that sometimes, the most wonderful friends come in the most unexpected packages.

From that day on, Lily's town never lacked water, and she always threw her baseball with a smile, knowing that magic lived in every act of friendship.
