The Pyramid's Lightning Gift
Lily loved exploring her grandmother's attic. Rain tapped against the window as she dug through dusty boxes, finding something extraordinary—a crystal pyramid no bigger than her palm, attached to a shimmering golden cable that seemed to glow from within.
"What are you?" Lily whispered, turning the pyramid in her hands. The cable stretched longer and longer, snaking across the floor like a curious golden snake.
Outside, thunder rumbled. Lightning flashed, and suddenly the pyramid pulsed with blue light! The cable began to pull, gently but insistently, tugging Lily toward the attic window.
"Where do you want me to go?" Lily asked, following the magical cable down the stairs, through the kitchen, and out the back door—just as the biggest lightning bolt she'd ever seen struck the old oak tree in their yard.
The cable pulled her toward the tree. Lily hesitated, but something told her to trust. She placed the crystal pyramid at the base of the oak tree. Another lightning bolt struck—and this time, the pyramid caught the lightning's energy!
The golden cable lit up brilliantly, carrying the lightning's power deep underground. Suddenly, the withered oak tree began to shimmer. New leaves sprouted, green and vibrant, covering every branch. The tree transformed from ancient and tired to strong and full of life.
Lily's grandmother appeared on the porch, eyes wide. "I forgot about the Lightning Pyramid! It was your great-grandfather's—他用 it to heal sick plants and trees during storms. The cable carries the lightning's energy to where it's needed most."
Lily grinned as the crystal pyramid dimmed, its work complete. The golden cable coiled neatly around its base.
"Can we use it again?" Lily asked.
"Whenever something needs healing," her grandmother said, squeezing Lily's hand. "But you must be brave, like you were today. Magic works best for kind hearts."
That night, Lily fell asleep watching the storm, dreaming of all the good she could do with her new friend the pyramid, the magical cable, and the gift of lightning.
