The Pyramid of Wishing Stars

Lily loved the old swimming pool in her backyard. But this wasn't just any pool—on summer nights, when the moonlight hit the water just right, something magical happened. The water would sparkle like a million tiny diamonds, and if you looked very closely, you could see the pool glow with a soft, golden light.

One evening, Lily noticed something strange. In the center of the pool, the water had formed itself into a perfect little pyramid, glistening like liquid sunshine. She reached out to touch it, and suddenly—ZAP! A tiny bolt of blue lightning danced from the pyramid to her finger.

"Ouch!" Lily giggled. It didn't hurt at all. Instead, she felt warm and tingly, like she had swallowed a spoonful of her favorite orange vitamin that made her strong and brave.

Suddenly, the most peculiar thing happened. A small figure popped out from inside the glowing pyramid! It was a tiny boy made entirely of water, with eyes that twinkled like stars.

"Hello!" he bubbled happily. "I'm Finn! I've been waiting for a friend to find me!"

Lily's eyes grew wide. "You live in my pool?"

"Only when the wishing stars align," Finn explained. "Every hundred years, the pool becomes a portal to the magical realm beneath. But I need someone's help to open it completely."

He showed her how all the pool's magical drops needed to work together, just like how vitamins work together to keep bodies healthy. "Alone, each drop is pretty," Finn said, "but together, we create something extraordinary."

Lily and Finn spent the whole night swimming through magical underwater kingdoms, meeting talking fish and discovering secret treasures. When morning came, Finn had to return to his pyramid, but he promised he would always be her friend.

"Remember," he whispered before disappearing, "the best magic happens when we share it with others."

Now, whenever Lily swims in her pool, she looks for the glowing pyramid. And sometimes, on especially magical nights, she sees Finn's starry eyes peeking through the water, reminding her that the most wonderful adventures are the ones we share with friends.
