The Pyramid of Wishing Hats

Lily discovered something magical in her backyard one morning. A tiny pyramid had appeared overnight, glowing with soft purple light. She knelt beside it, her curly hair falling into her eyes.

Inside the pyramid sat a collection of sparkly hats, each one different from the last. Some were tall and pointy, others wide and floppy. Lily picked up a shimmering blue hat and placed it on her head.

Suddenly, her hair began to sparkle like stardust! "Wow!" she gasped.

A small voice squeaked, "That's the Wishing Hat! It grants one wish to anyone with a pure heart."

Lily looked down to see a tiny mouse wearing a miniature top hat. "I'm Professor Whiskers," the mouse announced. "But the magic only works if you take your daily sunshine vitamin first!"

"My sunshine vitamin?" Lily asked.

Professor Whiskers pulled a glowing orange tablet from his pocket. "This! It's made from captured sunbeams. It gives you the power to wish for good things."

Lily swallowed the vitamin. Warmth spread through her body. She closed her eyes and made her wish. "I wish everyone could feel as happy as I do right now."

The pyramid rose into the air, spinning faster and faster. Rainbow light burst from it, shooting across the sky. Hats rained down on the neighborhood — silly hats, fancy hats, every kind of hat!

Her grumpy neighbor, Mr. Henderson, caught a polka-dot hat. His frown melted into a smile. Her friend Sam, who was sad about moving away, found a hat shaped like a rocket ship and started laughing.

Lily's hair sparkled brighter as happiness spread. She had learned something important: the best wishes are the ones that help others feel joy.

The pyramid dissolved into sparkles, but Lily knew the magic was real. Sometimes, all it takes is one person caring about everyone else's happiness to change the whole world.
