The Pyramid of Wishes

Lily loved her grandmother's old house. Every summer, she explored dusty corners and mysterious boxes. One rainy afternoon, she discovered a tiny golden **pyramid** tucked inside a velvet pouch. It shimmered with rainbow colors when she held it to the light.

"What's this?" she asked, running to find her grandmother.

Grandma smiled, her silver **hair** shining like moonlight. "Ah, the Wishing Pyramid! Legend says it grants one special wish to someone with a pure heart."

Lily's eyes widened. "Can I really wish for anything?"

"Anything," Grandma nodded. "But remember—the best wishes help others too."

Lily thought hard. Her friend Marcus had lost his favorite **hat**—a blue cap with a rocket ship patch—when they played at the park yesterday. Marcus had been so sad. He'd saved up his allowance for months to buy it.

Outside, thunder rumbled. Rain poured down in silver sheets. The hat was probably getting soaked!

Lily grasped the pyramid. "I wish Marcus could find his hat."

The pyramid glowed golden, spinning like a tiny top. suddenly, a rainbow beam shot through the window, cutting through the rain!

"Look!" Grandma pointed.

Following the rainbow, Lily and Grandma raced to the park. There, caught on a branch where the rainbow beam pointed, hung Marcus's blue hat!

Marcus stood nearby, staring up with wide eyes. Lily ran to him.

"Your hat!" she cried, reaching up.

Marcus gasped. "How did you know?"

Lily smiled, touching the pyramid in her pocket. "Sometimes, wishes do come true."

That day, Lily learned that magic is real—but the strongest magic is kindness. The golden pyramid never glowed again, but Lily didn't mind. She had already used her one wish perfectly.

And Marcus? He never lost his rocket hat again. Though sometimes, when he caught Lily smiling at rainbows, he wondered just how special his friend really was.
