The Pyramid of Wishes

Lily's room held many secrets, but the most magical one sat on her dresser—a pyramid-shaped glass bowl where Finny, her goldfish, swam in circles every day. Every afternoon, Mittens, her fluffy orange cat, would hop onto the dresser and stare at Finny for hours.

One sunny Saturday, Lily discovered something strange. A shiny cable trailed from her father's toolbox, snaking under her door and stretching all the way to the backyard. Curious, she followed it.

In the backyard stood a brand-new padel court! Her father had built it just for her. But something sparkled on the court's wall—a small pyramid symbol, exactly like Finny's bowl.

Lily grabbed her padel racquet and stepped onto the court. Mittens trotted after her, tail twitching with excitement. The cable seemed to hum with energy as Lily hit the ball against the pyramid symbol. *PING!*

Suddenly, the ball glowed golden. Finny's voice echoed from somewhere magical: *"You've found the Pyramid of Wishes! Three wishes are yours—but choose wisely, for the truest magic lives in kindness."*

Lily gasped. "First wish—let Mittens and Finny talk to each other!"

*POOF!* Mittens meowed, "Hello, Finny!" Finny bubbled, "Nice to meet you, Mittens!" They became instant friends, chatting about cat naps and fish adventures.

"Second wish—may we never be lonely!" Lily declared.

The pyramid glowed. Every child in the neighborhood appeared, laughing and playing padel together. The cable connecting everyone sparkled like golden light.

For her final wish, Lily thought hard. She could wish for toys, candy, or treasure. But watching Mittens pounce happily and Finny blow bubbles, she realized something.

"I wish that everyone finds their own true friends, just like I did."

The pyramid beamed so brightly it filled the whole neighborhood with warmth. That day, Lily learned that the best magic isn't wishes—it's friendship, kindness, and the joy of sharing moments together.
