The Pyramid of Thunder Pool

Ten-year-old Mia loved exploring her grandmother's backyard. One rainy afternoon, she noticed something peculiar: where usually stood an old oak tree, now glittered a crystal pyramid. Raindrops danced around it, refusing to touch its gleaming sides. Mia's heart skipped. This was magic—real magic!

She crept closer, and suddenly—ZAP! Lightning burst from the pyramid's tip, but it wasn't scary. The lightning swirled like golden ribbons, forming words: "ENTER IF YOU DARE."

Mia stepped through the pyramid's walls. Inside, she gasped. A magnificent pool stretched before her, its water glowing with captured lightning. Every ripple sent sparks skating across the surface like tiny stars. In the center floated a single lotus flower made entirely of crystallized lightning.

"Beautiful, isn't it?" Mia spun around. A boy her age stood there, his skin shimmering like the pool itself. "I'm Kael, guardian of the Thunder Pool."

He explained that long ago, selfish lightning bolts hid their power here. Only those who shared its wonder could keep the magic alive. But Kael had been alone for centuries.

Mia had an idea. "What if we show my friends?" She squeezed his lightning-warm hand. "Magic is brighter when shared!"

Together, they invited neighborhood children. Each splash in the pool released tiny lightning butterflies that carried wishes to the stars. The pyramid no longer stood alone—it pulsed with friendship's glow, and Mia learned that the greatest magic isn't found in pyramids or pools or lightning, but in sharing wonder with others.
