The Pyramid of Sweet Dreams

Lily's golden retriever, Barnaby, wagged his tail so hard his whole body wiggled. He had found something strange in the garden—a perfect pyramid made of glowing orange crystals. Lily knelt beside her faithful dog and touched the pyramid's smooth surface.

Suddenly, the crystals hummed and a small figure popped out! It was a zombie, but not a scary one. This zombie had bright purple skin, wore a polka-dot hat, and smelled like fresh papayas.

"Hello, friend!" the zombie said cheerfully. "I'm Zimpy! I've been trapped in the Pyramid of Sweet Dreams for a hundred years!"

Lily wasn't afraid. Zimpy was too friendly to be scary. "Why were you trapped?" she asked.

"I forgot the magic word," Zimpy sighed. "The pyramid only opens for someone who says the sweetest word in the world."

Barnaby barked happily and nudged a papaya that had fallen from Lily's tree. Zimpy's eyes widened. "Papaya! That's it!"

He shouted "PAPAYA!" and the pyramid transformed into a beautiful door. Inside, there was a room filled with toys, games, and more papayas than anyone could count.

"You and Barnaby are my best friends forever," Zimpy said, giving them both magical friendship bracelets made of pyramid crystals.

Lily learned that sometimes the scariest-looking things just need a friend. And that the sweetest word isn't always what you expect—sometimes it's just the name of a fruit you share with someone new.

Now every Saturday, Lily, Barnaby, and Zimpy have papaya picnics by the pyramid. And they all lived deliciously ever after.
