The Pyramid of Starlight
Lily loved exploring. Every day after school, she wandered through the woods behind her house, searching for magical things. One rainy afternoon, while jumping in puddles, she saw something shimmering in the mud.
It was a small golden pyramid, no bigger than her thumb. When Lily picked it up, the pyramid felt warm, almost alive! A tiny blue frog with silver spots peeked out from behind a rock.
"Please help!" the frog squeaked. "I'm Myla, and my home is sick!"
"What's wrong?" Lily asked, kneeling beside the stream.
"The magical star vitamins that keep our waters glowing have disappeared. Without them, everything fades away!" Myla's voice trembled. "But only someone pure of heart can restore them."
Lily's heart raced with excitement. "I'll help!"
As Myla led her to a hidden waterfall, Lily noticed the pyramid pulsing with golden light. Behind the waterfall, a crystal cave revealed a magnificent pyramid towering overhead, its crystals dark and dim.
"The Great Pyramid stores all our star vitamins," Myla explained. "But it only glows when powered by friendship and kindness."
Lily understood immediately. She hugged Myla gently. "You're my friend now, and friends always help each other."
Suddenly, the pyramid's crystals burst into brilliant light! Magical vitamins tumbled out, sparkling like tiny stars, and splashed into the stream. The whole cave began to glow—water sparkled, crystals chimed, and flowers bloomed instantly.
Myla beamed. "You did it!" She pressed a glowing vitamin into Lily's hand. "Keep this. It will let you visit whenever you want."
That day, Lily learned something wonderful: magic isn't about spells or potions. The real magic is friendship—the kind that makes pyramids glow and streams sparkle, the kind that turns strangers into friends.
And every rainy afternoon, Lily still jumps in puddles, smiling as she remembers her magical friend and the day they brought the light back together.
