The Pyramid of Sleeping Fish

Leo's goldfish, Glub, floated sideways in his bowl. Again.

"He's been sleeping for three days," Leo worried, poking the glass gently. Glub didn't even wiggle a fin. "Like a little orange zombie fish."

His best friend Maya peered at the bowl. "Maybe he's just bored? Goldfish need adventure too!"

That night, under a full moon, something magical appeared in the park — a shimmering golden pyramid, no taller than Maya's dad, glowing with rainbow light. The pyramid pulsed like a heartbeat.

"Do you see what I see?" Leo gasped.

Inside the pyramid floated tiny glowing bottles. Each bottle swirled with different colors — sunshine yellow, starlight silver, moonbeam blue. A tiny inscription read: SUN VITAMINS FOR DREAMING FISH.

"Sun vitamins!" Maya cried. "That's what Glub needs!"

They took the sparkliest bottle back to Leo's room. Maya sprinkled three glowing drops into Glub's bowl. The water turned into liquid starlight for a moment, then cleared.

Glub's fins twitched. Then ZOOM! The goldfish swam in crazy happy circles, creating a water tornado that soaked both children.

"He's ALIVE!" Leo cheered.

The goldfish swam to the glass and pressed his nose against it. Leo swore he saw Glub wink at them.

"He just needed the right magic," Maya said, squeezing her friend's hand. "Sometimes things seem sleeping or empty, but they're just waiting for the right spark to wake up."

The next morning, the pyramid had vanished. But Glub never slept sideways again. And every time Leo and Maya visited the park after dark, they could almost see rainbow lights flickering between the trees, waiting for the next dreamer who needed awakening.

Sometimes, the best magic is believing something can wake up again.
