The Pyramid of Green Magic
Lily hated spinach. Every time her mom served those green leaves, she made a face. 'It's like eating grass!' she would complain.
One afternoon, while hiding in her grandmother's garden to escape dinner, Lily noticed something strange. Behind the rosebushes glinted a tiny golden pyramid no bigger than her thumb.
She reached for it, but the pyramid suddenly grew—swirling with green sparks until it stood taller than her!
'Hello!' said a voice. From inside the pyramid stepped a small boy made entirely of water, shimmering like a river in sunlight. 'I'm Splash, and I've been waiting for a friend.'
'A friend?' Lily asked, amazed. 'But you're made of water!'
'Special water,' Splash smiled. 'This pyramid grows the most magical food in all the worlds.' He led Lily inside, where crystals glowed like stars.
In the center grew the most beautiful plants Lily had ever seen. 'What are they?' she wondered.
'This is moon spinach,' Splash explained. 'One bite gives you the power to talk to animals. Two bites let you fly. Three bites...' He winked.
Lily tried a leaf. Suddenly, she could hear the garden ladybugs giggling! She tried another leaf and floated off the ground!
'But remember,' Splash said gently, 'magic spinach only works for those who appreciate it. The magic is in the gratitude.'
Lily understood. The spinach wasn't bad—it was magical! She just needed to see it differently.
'Thank you, Splash!' she hugged her water friend. 'Will we meet again?'
'Every time you try something new with an open heart,' Splash said as he faded back into his pyramid, which shrank small again. 'Remember—wonder makes the world magical.'
That night, Lily ate every bite of spinach at dinner. 'This is delicious!' she announced. Her mom nearly fainted.
And sometimes, when the moonlight hit her garden just right, Lily could still see the tiny golden pyramid glowing, reminding her that magic exists everywhere, if you're brave enough to look.
