The Pyramid of Golden Fruit
Lily loved exploring her grandmother's garden. But today was special. Behind the old oak tree, she spotted something glittering—a golden pyramid no bigger than her lunchbox.
Inside the pyramid's crystal walls, tiny lights danced like fireflies. Lily held her breath and touched it. Whoosh! The pyramid grew tall as a tree, and a door appeared.
Inside, everything glowed. On a velvet pedestal sat the most beautiful papaya she'd ever seen—shimmering like a sunset. Beside it lay an orange that sparkled like stars.
'They're magic,' said a small voice. Lily turned to see a blue creature with wings like a butterfly. 'I'm Padel. I'm the guardian.'
'These fruits grant wishes,' Padel explained. 'But only to those who share them.'
Lily thought of her friend Mia, who was sick in bed. 'I wish for my friend to feel better.' She broke the papaya in half. One half glowed and vanished.
'Now the orange,' Padel whispered. 'What will you wish?'
Lily thought hard. She could wish for toys, or adventures, or cake... But then she remembered how lonely Padel looked guarding the pyramid all alone.
'I wish Padel could have a friend too,' she said, breaking the orange.
Padel's wings turned rainbow colors. 'Thank you, Lily! Now I can leave the pyramid and play!'
They shared the remaining fruit together—it tasted like sunshine and happiness.
That afternoon, Mia woke up feeling better. And in her garden, Lily found a new friend who showed her that the best magic is sharing with others.
Sometimes the smallest wishes create the biggest wonders.
