The Pyramid of Golden Bubbles

Lily loved swimming more than anything in the world. Every summer day, you'd find her splashing in the blue pool behind her house, her wet hair plastering against her cheeks like seaweed kisses.

One Tuesday, something magical happened. While Lily was swimming laps, she noticed something strange at the bottom of the pool. A golden pyramid, glowing softly beneath the rippling water.

She held her breath and dove deeper, her fingers reaching for the mysterious object. The moment she touched it, WHOOSH! The water suddenly felt thick and bubbly, like swimming through a cloud.

Suddenly, a tiny fish with rainbow scales appeared, wearing an even tinier crown.

"You found the Bubble Pyramid!" the fish squeaked. "I'm King Fin, and this pyramid holds the dreams of all children who love swimming. But someone — or something — has been stealing our dream bubbles!"

Lily's eyes widened. "Who would steal dreams?"

"The Shadow Eel," King Fin said sadly. "He hates happiness. He's been running away with our bubbles for weeks. Will you help us get them back?"

Lily nodded without hesitation.

Together, they swam through an underwater tunnel that appeared like magic. They found the Shadow Eel curled around a jar of glowing bubbles, his slippery black body coiled tight.

But instead of being scary, the eel looked lonely.

"Why are you stealing dreams?" Lily asked gently.

"Nobody ever plays with me," the eel whispered. "Everyone says I'm too dark, too slippery, too... eel-like."

Lily's hair floated around her face as she smiled. "I'll play with you. But you have to give the dreams back."

The Shadow Eel uncoiled and returned the bubbles, which floated upward like tiny, glowing balloons. From that day on, Lily had two friends in the pool — King Fin and the Shadow Eel, who wasn't shadowy anymore when he was happy.

And sometimes, when Lily was swimming, she'd see golden bubbles rising to the surface, each one carrying someone's beautiful dream.
