The Pyramid of Friendship Vitamins

Lily and Sam were best friends who loved exploring. One sunny afternoon, they found something amazing behind the old oak tree—a pyramid made of glowing crystal! It sparkled like a thousand stars caught in a glass box.

"Look!" Sam whispered, eyes wide. "There's something inside."

The pyramid opened slowly, revealing colorful glowing gems shaped like every child's favorite thing. A little note floated out: "Friendship Vitamins—take one each day for a happy heart!"

Lily picked up a blue gem that looked like a tiny droplet of ocean. "What do friendship vitamins do?"

Sam shrugged. "Let's find out!"

They each took one gem. Suddenly, they felt warm and happy inside. Their hearts felt lighter, like balloons floating in a summer sky.

"I feel like giving you a hug!" Lily laughed, wrapping her arms around Sam.

"And I want to share my cookie with you!" Sam said, breaking his snack in half.

All week, they took their friendship vitamins. They helped Mrs. Chen carry groceries, shared toys with the new kid at school, and even rescued a lost kitten together. Each good deed made their pyramid glow brighter!

But one day, Lily's little brother accidentally knocked the pyramid over. The gems scattered everywhere!

"Oh no!" Sam cried. "Our friendship vitamins are gone!"

Lily looked at the empty pyramid, then at Sam's worried face. Suddenly, she smiled.

"Sam, don't you see? We don't need magic vitamins anymore. We learned how to be good friends!"

Sam's eyes lit up. "You're right! We shared, helped, and cared—all by ourselves!"

The pyramid, now empty, glowed one last golden time before fading away. But in its place stood something better: true friendship that didn't need magic at all.

That evening, Lily and Sam sat under the oak tree, sharing stories and cookies. They didn't need a crystal pyramid to remind them how to be friends. They had each other, and that was the greatest magic of all.
