The Pyramid of Dreams

Tommy loved baseball more than anything. Every day after school, he'd practice pitching in his backyard, with his golden dog Buster chasing every ball.

One sunny afternoon, Buster dug furiously near the old oak tree, barking excitedly. Tommy ran over and gasped. There, glowing softly in the dirt, was a small crystal pyramid no bigger than his fist. It pulsed with rainbow light, and when Tommy picked it up, warm tingles rushed through his fingers.

"What is this, boy?" Tommy whispered. Buster wagged his tail so hard his whole body wiggled.

Suddenly, the pyramid floated from Tommy's hand and grew taller than their house! Its crystal walls shimmered like captured sunlight. Inside, Tommy could see floating baseballs that left trails of stardust as they moved.

A voice echoed like gentle chimes: "Enter, dreamer of games."

Tommy took Buster's paw. "Together," he said.

Inside, the pyramid was bigger than a baseball stadium. Magical baseballs zoomed through the air, and when Tommy caught one, it turned into pure light that filled him with joy. He realized these weren't just any baseballs—they were dreams waiting to be played.

His friend Maria appeared, smiling. "I had a dream you'd discover this place," she said. "The ancient Pyramid of Dreams turns wishes into wonderful games."

Tommy understood. The pyramid wasn't just magic—it was about sharing happiness with friends.

"Play with us!" Tommy called to Buster. The dog barked happily as magical baseballs floated around them like fireflies.

They played until sunset, catching dream-balls and making wishes with every catch. Maria wished for courage. Tommy wished for adventures. Buster just wished for more treats.

That night, the pyramid shrunk back to its tiny size. Tommy kept it safe, knowing that whenever he needed magic, he just needed to play with his friend and his dog.

Some dreams, he learned, are meant to be shared.
