The Pyramid of Dreams
Benny had the most magical hair in town. Every morning, his dark curls would bounce and shimmer as if they were alive. But what made his hair truly special was what happened when he laughed — his curls would glow like tiny sparklers!
One summer afternoon, while playing catch alone in his backyard, Benny heard a gentle snort behind the oak tree. Peeking carefully, he discovered a massive brown bull with kind, gentle eyes.
"Hello there," Benny whispered. To his surprise, the bull nodded.
"I'm Buster," the bull said softly. "I love baseball."
Benny's eyes grew wide. A talking bull who loved baseball! This was the most wonderful day of his life.
"I have something amazing to show you," Buster said, gesturing with his nose toward a cluster of weeds. "Help me clear these away."
Together, Benny and Buster worked until they revealed something incredible — a small golden pyramid hidden in the tall grass. It glowed with warm, mysterious light.
"Touch it," Buster urged.
As Benny's fingers grazed the pyramid's smooth surface, his hair began to glow brighter than ever before. The pyramid hummed with ancient magic. Suddenly, they were lifted into the clouds!
Above them stretched the most beautiful baseball diamond Benny had ever seen. The bases were made of clouds, and the sky was filled with stars, even though it was daytime.
"The Pyramid of Dreams grants one magical game to those who believe in friendship and fun," Buster explained, pulling a baseball from behind his ear.
They played for hours, the game neither ending nor having a score — just pure joy. Benny's glowing hair lit up the sky as they laughed and ran. Every time he threw the ball, it would trail sparkles.
When the sun began to set, the pyramid gently brought them home.
"Will I see you again?" Benny asked, hugging Buster's warm neck.
"Whenever you believe in magic," Buster promised. "And whenever you need a friend."
The next morning, the pyramid was gone. But in Benny's backyard, a brand-new baseball glove waited beside his favorite tree. Inside was a note: "See you next summer, champ."
Benny laughed, and his hair glowed brighter than ever. He knew that some magic is real, as long as you have a friend to share it with.
