The Pyramid Inside the iPhone

Lily had the curliest, wildest hair in her whole class. It bounced when she walked. It poofed when she ran. It seemed to have a mind of its own!

"Why can't my hair be straight and smooth?" Lily sighed, pulling at the stubborn curls.

One afternoon, while playing with her dad's old iPhone, something strange happened. Lily's curls brushed against the screen, and suddenly the phone began to GLOW.

A tiny golden pyramid sprouted from the screen, growing bigger and brighter until it filled her room! The pyramid was made of shimmering light, and inside, Lily could see swirling staircases going up, up, UP.

"Come in!" a sparkly voice echoed from inside.

Lily stepped through the light and found herself in a magical world. Her hair, usually so wild and tangly, floated around her like a beautiful cloud. Little rainbow-colored creatures peeked out from behind glowing crystals.

"We've been waiting for someone with MAGIC HAIR!" a tiny blue creature exclaimed. "Our pyramid has lost its sparkle, and only someone with very special hair can help us!"

Lily's eyes widened. "My hair... is magic?"

"YES!" the creatures cheered. "Your hair holds the power of sunshine and clouds and storms! That's why it's so wild and wonderful!"

They led her to the top of the pyramid, where a sad, gray crystal sat. Lily's curls began to shine brighter than ever before. Without thinking, she lowered her head, and her hair touched the crystal.

WHOOSH!

The most beautiful colors exploded from the crystal—purples and golds and blues and greens! The whole pyramid lit up like a rainbow sunset.

"Thank you!" the little creatures danced around her. "Your hair saved our home!"

When Lily returned to her room, the pyramid had shrunk back into the iPhone. Her curls were still wild and bouncy, but now when she looked in the mirror, she saw something different.

She saw magic.

"My hair isn't messy," Lily whispered, smiling. "It's magnificent."

And from that day on, whenever someone asked about her wild hair, Lily would just wink and say, "It's not just hair. It's magic."
