The Pyramid Behind the Dresser
Luna had the most extraordinary hair in her class. It wasn't just curly—it sparkled like tiny stars when she laughed, which made everyone wonder if she was secretly magical.
One rainy afternoon, while playing hide-and-seek with her cat Muffin, Luna noticed something strange behind her dresser. An old cable she'd never seen before glowed with a soft purple light, wiggling like a friendly worm.
"Hello there," she whispered, curious as always.
The cable seemed to beckon her, so Luna gently pulled it. To her amazement, it stretched longer and longer, leading out her window and up into the clouds! Muffin meowed excitedly, jumping onto Luna's shoulder.
"Should we follow it?" Luna asked. Muffin purred yes.
Hand over hand, Luna climbed the glowing cable until she reached something incredible—a floating pyramid made of crystal, spinning slowly in the sky. Inside, she met tiny beings called Zippies, who looked like walking rainbows.
"Welcome!" squeaked the smallest Zippy. "We need your help. Our home pyramid is losing its sparkle because children have forgotten to imagine and dream big!"
Luna's eyes widened. "But how can I help?"
"You have the gift," the Zippy explained, touching her sparkly hair. "And you must share our secret with the world."
The Zippies gave Luna a special vitamin—a tiny golden crystal that wasn't like any vitamin she'd ever seen. "This is the Wonder Vitamin," they said. "It doesn't go in your tummy. You sprinkle it on books, toys, and games to make them magical again."
Luna understood. The real magic wasn't in pills or potions—it was in believing that ordinary things could become extraordinary through imagination and kindness.
She climbed back down the cable, her heart full of wonder. That night, she sprinkled the Wonder Vitamin on her little brother's toy box, her grandmother's knitting basket, and her teacher's desk. Everywhere it landed, people started smiling, creating, and dreaming again.
Luna's hair sparkled brighter than ever, because she knew the truth: magic is real, and it lives inside everyone who believes in wonder.
