The Pyramid and the Brave Bull
Lily discovered the golden pyramid hidden beneath her grandmother's dusty attic floorboards. It glowed with warm, honey-colored light, and when she touched its smooth surface, the tiny toy bull beside it shook its brass horns and came to life!
"I've been sleeping for three hundred years," said the bull, his voice deep and rumbly like gentle thunder. "My name is Barnaby, and I guard the Pyramid of Wishes. You've awakened us both!"
Lily's eyes sparkled. "Can I make a wish?"
"The pyramid grants only one kind of wish," Barnaby explained. "It grants wishes that help others become your friend. But you must prove yourself first."
That afternoon, Lily spotted new neighbor Marco sitting alone in his yard, looking sad. He'd just moved from far away and knew no one. Lily remembered Barnaby's words about friendship.
She bravely walked over, her heart thumping. "Would you like to see something magical?" she asked.
Marco's face lit up. Together, they returned to the pyramid, which now blazed so brightly that rainbows danced across the attic walls. Barnaby bowed his golden horns.
"You've already made your wish come true," the bull rumbled happily. "By choosing kindness over fear, you found a true friend. That's the real magic."
From that day on, Lily, Marco, and Barnaby had countless adventures. They learned that friendship isn't found in magic objects—it's made by brave hearts that choose to care. And whenever they needed reminding, the golden pyramid would glow softly, warming their hearts like sunshine.
"True friends," Barnaby would say with a wink, "are the greatest treasure any pyramid could ever hold."
