The Pool Pyramid's Secret

Emma loved swimming more than anything. Every summer day, she'd leap into her backyard pool before breakfast, her favorite blue swimsuit sparkling in the sun.

One morning, Grandma handed her a shiny orange pill. "It's your vitamin, sweetie. For strong bones and brave adventures."

Emma swallowed it with a giggle. Then she noticed something strange at the bottom of the pool. A golden glow! She dove down, deeper and deeper.

There, resting on the pool floor, sat a miniature pyramid no bigger than a shoebox. But it wasn't just any pyramid — its sides shimmered with rainbow colors, and tiny bubbles streamed from its tip like a magical fountain.

When Emma touched it, the pyramid swung open like a treasure chest. Inside sat a tiny crystal fish no larger than her thumb.

"Thank you for finding me!" the fish squeaked in a voice like tinkling bells. "I'm Finn, and I've been trapped for a hundred years!"

Emma gasped, then remembered she was underwater. But she could breathe! The vitamin must have been magic!

"I was cursed by a grumpy crab," Finn explained sadly. "He said no one would ever help a fish."

"That's not true!" Emma declared. "Everyone needs help sometimes. That's why we have friends!"

The pyramid's glow turned pink. A tiny crab emerged, looking embarrassed. "I... I was lonely," the crab admitted. "I thought if I kept Finn here, he'd be my friend."

Emma smiled. "You don't have to trap people to be friends. You just have to be kind!"

The crab released Finn immediately. Emma invited both to play swimming races every day. And they did — Finn was the fastest, of course, but the crab always tried his hardest.

That night, Emma realized something wonderful: the real magic wasn't the vitamin at all. It was her kind heart, ready to help anyone in need. And now she had two new friends for all her swimming adventures.
