The Pool of Wishes

Lily found the old iPhone hidden under her grandmother's bed, its screen cracked but still glowing with mysterious light. When she touched it, only one app appeared — a shimmering blue icon that looked exactly like a swimming pool.

"What if this is magic?" Lily whispered. Her grandmother had always told stories about magical pools that could grant wishes. Lily pressed the icon, and suddenly the iPhone's screen rippled like real water. A gentle voice echoed from the phone: "The Pool of Dreams awaits those who believe."

That night, when moonlight spilled through her window, the iPhone began to glow. Lily followed its light to the garden pond, which had transformed into a crystal pool of sparkling blue. From the water emerged a small, fluffy bear with kind eyes and a silver coat.

"I've been waiting for you," the bear said softly. "I am Bruno, guardian of the Pool of Wishes. But I'm lonely here. Will you be my friend?"

Lily's heart swelled. She had just moved to this town and didn't know anyone yet. "I'd love to be your friend, Bruno!"

Bruno smiled and showed her how the pool could make wishes come true — but only wishes that helped others. Together, they wished for flowers to bloom in the neighbor's garden, for the lonely dog down the street to find a companion, and for Lily's grandmother's knees to stop hurting.

Each wish made the pool sparkle brighter, and Bruno's fur grew fluffier with happiness. "Real magic isn't about getting what you want," Bruno taught her. "It's about making others happy."

From that night on, Lily visited Bruno every sunset. She made her first real friend — a magical bear who taught her that kindness is the greatest magic of all. And the iPhone? It became their secret keeper, glowing softly whenever it was time for another adventure at the Pool of Wishes.
