The Pool of Wishes
Lily loved visiting her grandmother's house, especially the mysterious **pool** in the backyard. It wasn't just any pool—her grandmother said it was a pool of wishes, where magic happened if you believed hard enough.
One sunny afternoon, Lily sat by the water eating a juicy **orange**. The sweet fruit dripped down her chin as she watched the water sparkle like diamonds. Suddenly, something strange happened. Her **iPhone**, which she'd left on a towel, began to glow with a soft purple light!
Curious, Lily noticed a strange **cable** half-buried in the garden dirt. It shimmered with rainbow colors and seemed to hum with energy. Without thinking, she picked it up and touched it to her phone. WHOOSH! The water in the pool began to swirl, forming a magical doorway.
From the center of the pool emerged a small, shimmering creature—a water sprite named Finn. "I've been waiting for a **friend**," Finn said with a smile like tiny waves. "Someone who still believes in magic."
Finn showed Lily how the pool connected all the magical pools in the world. Together they swam through shimmering portals, visiting mermaid kingdoms and dragon caves. They shared stories and laughter, and Lily learned that the best magic of all was friendship.
"Will you come back?" Finn asked as the sun began to set.
"Every day," Lily promised, touching her glowing phone where Finn's image now lived, a tiny friend she could visit anytime.
That night, Lily ate another orange by the pool, knowing that magic was real—as long as you had friends to share it with.
