The Pool of Starlight Dreams

iphonevitaminpool

Penny loved visiting her grandmother's house, especially the mysterious pool behind the garden. Grandma said it was magical, but Penny never understood why until one summer evening.

Grandma handed Penny her old iPhone. "Take this with you to the pool tonight. You'll need it."

Penny was confused. Why would she need an iPhone at the pool? But she trusted Grandma.

That night, Penny sat by the pool under the full moon. The water shimmered like liquid silver. Suddenly, the iPhone in her pocket began to glow and chime with a musical sound she'd never heard before.

A tiny fairy popped out from the screen! She was no bigger than Penny's thumb, with wings like a dragonfly and a dress made of moonlight.

"Hello!" the fairy said. "I'm Vitamin! I'm the keeper of the Starlight Pool."

Penny couldn't believe her eyes. "Your name is Vitamin?"

"Yes!" the fairy laughed. "I help make sure all children have wonderful dreams. But I need your help. Tonight is the Dream-Making Festival, and I've lost my magic dust!"

Penny wanted to help. The iPhone suddenly projected a map onto the water, showing three glowing spots where Vitamin's magic dust might be.

"Let's find it together!" Penny said.

She and Vitamin searched around the pool. Behind a rosebush, Penny found a pouch of sparkling blue dust. Under the garden bench, she found another pouch of purple dust. And near the fountain, she discovered the final pouch of golden dust.

"Thank you!" Vitamin cried joyfully. "Now we can make the dreams!"

Together, they sprinkled the magic dust into the pool. The water began to swirl with colors—blue, purple, and gold—creating the most beautiful patterns Penny had ever seen.

"Now close your eyes and make a wish for every child in the world," Vitamin said.

Penny closed her eyes tight and wished for every child to have happy dreams, good friends, and someone who loved them as much as Grandma loved her.

The pool glowed brighter than ever, sending bubbles of light floating up into the night sky. Each bubble carried a dream to a sleeping child somewhere in the world.

"You did it!" Vitamin hugged Penny's cheek. "Tonight, children everywhere will have magical dreams because of you."

When Penny opened her eyes, Vitamin was gone, and the iPhone was back to normal. But as she walked back to Grandma's house, she noticed the sky was filled with more stars than usual, each one twinkling like a tiny dream waiting to happen.

Grandma was waiting at the door with a knowing smile. "I see you met Vitamin. The pool remembers kind hearts, Penny. Always remember that helping others is the greatest magic of all."

From that night on, Penny never saw Vitamin again, but sometimes when she visited, she'd catch the pool shimmering with mysterious colors, and she'd know the dreams were still being made. And every time she helped someone, she'd feel that same magical warmth in her heart, knowing she was spreading a little bit of the pool's starlight magic wherever she went.
