The Pool of Dreams

Lily's grandma handed her a bright **orange** bottle. "Time for your daily **vitamin**, sweetie!" Lily swallowed the cherry-flavored tablet and jumped into her swimsuit. Today was the best day ever—her best friend Theo was coming over for their weekly pool adventure!

In the backyard, they stared in awe at what Theo had built. A magnificent **pyramid** of pool noodles, floaties, and beach balls rose from the shallow end of the **pool**. "It's the Temple of Sunken Secrets," Theo announced proudly. "Legend says whoever swims through it gets one magical wish."

Lily's eyes sparkled. Together they slipped into the cool blue water. The pyramid wobbled as they swam through its middle, but something magical happened. The water began to glow with tiny silver lights—fireflies, swimming underwater!

"They're not fireflies," Theo whispered. "My older brother says they're **zombie** glow worms. They come up from underground only when kids are brave enough to believe in magic."

The lights danced around them, forming shapes in the water—a dolphin, a castle, even a smiling face. Lily made a wish on the zombie glow worms. "I wish every kid could have a best friend to share magical adventures with."

The lights swirled once more and disappeared, leaving the water sparkling like diamonds.

That evening, as they ate orange slices under the stars, Lily realized something important. The magic hadn't been the pyramid or the zombie glow worms. The real magic was having someone who believed in dreams with you.
