The Pool Noodle Zombie's Magic Pyramid

Leo loved swimming more than anything. Every summer day, he'd dive into the cool blue pool, pretending to be a secret spy on an underwater mission. But Leo wondered – what happened at the pool when the sun went down?

One warm evening, Leo couldn't sleep. He crept outside in his bare feet, his spy game beginning. He peeked through the fence and gasped.

The pool was glowing! A strange creature stood there – it looked like a zombie, but not scary at all. This creature was made of green pool noodles! Noodle arms wiggled, noodle legs bounced, and yellow noodles spiraled around its head like crazy hair.

The pool noodle zombie was stacking colorful inflatable rings into a shiny pyramid. But it kept wobbling and dropping the rings.

"I'll never finish before midnight!" the zombie sighed, sending bubbles floating up.

Leo stepped through the gate. "I can help! I'm a spy – spies are good at helping."

The noodle creature jumped – noodles went flying everywhere! "A human! Can you see me?"

"I'm Leo," he said. "What's a pyramid made of pool toys for?"

The zombie's foam mouth curved into a smile. "Every summer, we build this pyramid to catch children's happy swimming memories. When it's complete, those memories become stars that shine in the winter sky. But I'm too wobbly to build it alone."

Leo's eyes widened. "That's beautiful! Let's do it together."

Working as a team, Leo and the pool noodle zombie stacked the rings. Leo's steady hands placed each one while the zombie added magic sparkle from its noodle fingers. They laughed as Leo swam around like a spy.

At midnight, they placed the final golden ring. The pyramid burst with brilliant light, sending hundreds of tiny stars floating into the night sky.

"Thank you, Leo," the zombie whispered. "You're not just a spy – you're a friend."

Leo grinned. "Same time tomorrow?"

"Bring your swimsuit! Swimming friends build faster!"

Leo tiptoed back to bed, knowing that sometimes the best friends are the ones who look different than you expect, and being brave enough to help someone can create the most magical adventures.
