The Papaya That Ran on Water

Lila loved exploring the jungle behind her house. Every morning, she would go running through the tall grass, discovering new secrets hidden among the trees.

One Tuesday, something magical happened. Lila found the biggest papaya she had ever seen, glowing with a soft golden light. When she touched it, the papaya spoke!

"I'm not just any fruit," said the papaya in a whispery voice. "I contain a very special vitamin that gives magical powers to kind children."

Lila's eyes widened. "What kind of powers?"

"Follow me to the Rainbow River!"

The papaya rolled ahead of her, leading Lila deeper into the jungle. When they reached the river, Lila gasped. The water sparkled with every color of the rainbow, flowing upstream instead of down!

"Take a bite," the papaya said.

Lila took a small bite. It tasted like sunshine and dreams. Suddenly, her feet tingled. She stepped onto the water — and didn't sink! She was running on water, skimming across the rainbow surface as fish swam beneath her feet.

"The magic vitamin only works for children with kind hearts," the papaya explained. "You share your snacks with animals and help your friends. That's why you can walk on water."

Lila laughed, running in circles on the magical river. But soon, she noticed something sad. A baby monkey sat on the riverbank, crying because his favorite banana had fallen into the water.

Without thinking, Lila ran across the water, grabbed the banana, and brought it back to the little monkey. His happy chirps made her heart warm.

"That's the real magic," said the papaya. "Not running on water. The vitamin's power grows stronger every time you help someone."

From that day on, Lila visited the Rainbow River often. She discovered that the truest magic wasn't in special fruits or running on water — it was in kindness, the most powerful vitamin of all.

And sometimes, just sometimes, she still takes a bite of that glowing papaya and goes for a magical run across the rainbow water, just for the pure joy of it.
