The Papaya Pyramid's Secret

Lila loved her backyard, especially the tall **palm** tree that swayed in the warm breeze. Every morning, she would climb its rough branches and pretend she was exploring a magical jungle kingdom. But today was different.

Behind the palm tree, something shiny caught her eye. Lila pushed aside the leaves and gasped. A tiny golden **pyramid** no bigger than her lunchbox glimmered in the sunlight! It had strange symbols that seemed to sparkle and dance.

"Hello?" she called softly.

Suddenly, the pyramid's front panel slid open, and out stumbled a little figure made of papaya-colored light. It moved slowly, arms stretched out, groaning, "Brains... no, wait! Papayas! Does anyone have papayas?"

"Are you... a **zombie**?" Lila asked, her eyes wide.

"No! I'm Zim, the guardian of the Sweet Pyramid!" The little figure drooped sadly. "I've been asleep for one hundred years. I'm so hungry I can barely think straight. People called me a zombie because I move so slowly when I'm hungry."

Lila's mama had just bought ripe papayas from the market. She grabbed two from the kitchen and offered them to Zim.

Zim's eyes lit up! He took a bite and spun around in a happy dance. "Delicious! Thank you, Lila! You saved me!"

The golden pyramid began to glow, and suddenly the backyard transformed into a magical garden. Papaya trees appeared everywhere, and flowers bloomed in rainbow colors.

"You have a kind heart," Zim said, handing her a tiny golden seed. "Plant this, and you'll always have friendship and magic nearby."

Lila learned that day that things aren't always what they seem. Sometimes what looks scary just needs a little kindness — and maybe a papaya or two!

Now, whenever she climbs her palm tree, she visits Zim in the golden pyramid. They share papayas and wonderful adventures, proving that friendship is the sweetest magic of all.
