The Papaya Pyramid Party

Lily pressed her nose against the glass bowl. "Goodnight, Goldie," she whispered to her orange goldfish. But Goldie didn't sleep. Instead, she swished her tail and sent a single bubble floating UP, UP, UP until it popped and sparkled like tiny stars.

"Follow me!" Goldie seemed to say. And suddenly, Lily wasn't in her room anymore. She stood beside a glowing pool tucked behind the old oak tree in her backyard—a pool she had never seen before!

The water shimmered with rainbow colors. Suddenly, something green and lumpy rose from the water. Lily gasped, but the creature smiled crookedly.

"I'm Zara," she said. "I'm a zombie, but don't worry—I'm a FRIENDLY zombie. I just want someone to build with me!" Zara wasn't scary at all. She was made of soft moss and leaves, with flowers for eyes.

"What are we building?" Lily asked, eyes wide.

"A pyramid!" Zara cheered. "But we need something special."

Goldie jumped from her bowl and landed gently on the grass. Before their eyes, she grew bigger and bigger until she was as tall as Lily! "The secret ingredient is LOVE," Goldie bubbled. "And papayas!"

Magically, round yellow papayas appeared everywhere. Lily, Zara, and Goldie worked together, stacking the sweet fruit higher and higher. Lily placed the final papaya on top—it glowed golden!

"Now make a wish!" said Zara.

Lily closed her eyes tight. "I wish for friends who believe in magic."

The pyramid began to spin. Papaya juice filled the pool, turning it into the most delicious swimming hole imaginable. They splashed and played until the stars came out.

When Lily opened her eyes, she was back in her room. Goldie swam peacefully in her bowl. But something was different—there, on her nightstand, sat a tiny papaya pyramid, still glowing faintly.

Sometimes, Lily whispered, magic finds YOU when you're brave enough to believe. And somewhere, in a hidden pool behind the oak tree, three friends were still having the greatest adventure of all.
