The Papaya Pond Promise

Lila lived beside a pond that shimmered like liquid sunshine. Every morning, she would sit on the mossy bank and watch the fish dart through crystal-clear water. But today was different. Today, something magical was about to happen.

As L dipped her toes into the cool water, a tiny goldfish with scales the color of sunset popped to the surface. But this wasn't an ordinary fish. Its name was Finnegan, and he could talk!
