The Papaya Guardian's Secret

Lila loved exploring her grandmother's magical garden in Jamaica. One sunny afternoon, she spotted a peculiar golden pyramid hidden behind giant banana leaves. Unlike the ancient pyramids in books, this one glowed with warmth and smelled like sweet sunshine.

Inside, Lila discovered a small, green figure with patchy skin and tangled hair. It looked like a zombie from her storybooks, but this creature was busy arranging papayas in perfect spirals.

"Welcome!" said the little zombie, grinning. "I'm Zola, guardian of the Papaya Pyramid. These aren't ordinary papayas—they're friendship fruits!"

Zola explained that each papaya glowed brighter when someone shared kindness. The pyramid's magic kept them fresh forever, ready to help anyone in need.

"But you look scary," Lila said honestly.

"Appearances can be misleading," Zola said softly. "I was once lonely until I found this magical place. Now I share joy with everyone who visits."

Lila realized her mistake. She helped Zola pack papayas into baskets, and they delivered them to children throughout the village. Each child who received a papaya felt happier and more confident.

That evening, Lila returned to the pyramid with her grandmother. The papayas glowed so brightly they illuminated the whole garden.
