The Papaya Dog's Orange Dream

In a sunny garden where butterflies danced, there lived a golden retriever named Papaya. She wasn't named after the fruit because she looked like one—she was named that way because she was sweet inside and out.

Every morning, Papaya would chase orange butterflies through the garden, her fur shining like sunshine. But Papaya had a secret dream. She wanted to fly like the butterflies she chased.

POOF! Papaya grew magnificent orange wings. She soared into the sky, higher than the trees, higher than the birds! She saw the world from above—fields of flowers, sparkling rivers, and children playing below.

Papaya spotted her best friend, a little girl named Lily, looking sad in the garden. Papaya knew what to do.

She swooped down, landing gently beside Lily. "Hop on my back!" she barked happily.

Lily's eyes widened with wonder. Together, they flew through clouds that tasted like cotton candy and visited islands made entirely of papaya trees. They laughed and played until the sun began to set.

"Thank you, Papaya," Lily whispered, hugging her friend tight.
