Lily loved visiting her grandmother's house by the sea. The best part was the tall palm tree that swayed in the warm breeze, its fronds dancing like green fingers waving hello.

One sunny morning, Lily noticed something strange. A bright orange glowed among the palm's leaves. She stood on her tiptoes, stretching as high as she could, but the orange remained just out of reach.

"Grandma!" Lily called. "The palm tree has an orange!"

Grandma chuckled, her eyes twinkling. "Ah, little one, that's no ordinary orange. That's a magical gift from the palm tree. It only appears when someone truly needs its special powers."

Lily's eyes grew wide. "What kind of powers?"

"Inside that orange is the most powerful vitamin in the world—not just for bodies, but for hearts and friendships too."

Lily's best friend Toby had been feeling sad lately because he had to move away. Lily thought of Toby's teary face yesterday.

"I need that orange!" Lily said. "But how do I reach it?"

"The palm tree helps those who help others," Grandma whispered.

Lily looked around and saw a baby bird that had fallen from its nest. Carefully, she climbed onto the garden bench, reached up, and placed the little bird back home. Its mother sang happily.

Suddenly, the orange dropped into Lily's hands! It felt warm, like sunshine. But when she peeled it, inside wasn't just fruit—it was filled with tiny, glowing sparkles.

"Take these to Toby," Grandma said. "Each sparkle is a drop of friendship vitamin. Whenever he feels lonely, he can remember that true friends stay connected in their hearts, no matter how far apart they are."

Lily rushed to Toby's house just before his family left. She gave him the magical orange, and together they ate every sparkling piece.

Toby smiled, and his eyes didn't look so sad anymore. "I'll never forget you, Lily."

"And I'll never forget you," she promised.
