The Palm Tree's Golden Treasure
Leo loved climbing the old palm tree in his backyard. Every afternoon after school, he'd scramble up its rough bark and sit among the fronds, dreaming of adventures. But today, something magical happened.
Instead of a coconut, a strange golden sphere fell from the tree and bonked Leo on the head. He picked it up and gasped—it was a baseball, but it shimmered like liquid sunshine!
Suddenly, the baseball floated upward, glowing brighter and brighter. A warm light engulfed Leo, and when he blinked, he wasn't in his backyard anymore. He stood before a magnificent crystal pyramid rising from clouds, its peak touching the stars.
"You're finally here!" called a voice. A girl with silver hair and eyes like amethysts ran toward him. "I'm Luna. I've been waiting for someone to find the treasure."
"Treasure?" Leo clutched the golden baseball.
"Not that," Luna laughed, pointing at something incredible. A shimmering pool appeared at the pyramid's base, but instead of water, it was filled with thousands of glowing spheres—baseballs, marbles, jacks, and toys of every kind.
"These are toys that children lost or forgot about," Luna explained. "The pyramid guards them until someone kind comes to share them with friends who have none."
Leo looked at the golden baseball in his hand. He had found it alone, but it wasn't meant for just one person.
"Will you help me?" Luna asked. "We can bring these toys to children who need friends."
Leo nodded, and together, they gathered armfuls of toys. The pyramid hummed with joy, and in a flash of light, Leo was back in his palm tree, Luna beside him.
"Real magic," she whispered, "is sharing what you find with someone else."
Leo climbed down and ran to find the new kid next door who had no toys to play with. And as they played catch with the golden baseball that afternoon, Leo discovered the best treasure of all—friendship.
