The Palm That Glowed

Leo was a curious boy who loved exploring. One sunny afternoon, while walking on the beach, he noticed something shiny in his palm. It was a tiny, glowing orange crystal.

"What is this?" Leo wondered. The crystal pulsed with warm light.

A tiny creature appeared—smaller than a ladybug, with wings like rainbows. "I'm Pip!" she squeaked. "That's a star vitamin! It fell from the Magic Sky Garden!"

"A star vitamin?" Leo asked, eyes wide.

Pip danced in the air. "Yes! Star vitamins give magical creatures their special powers. Without them, I can't fly home to the Cloud Kingdom!"

Leo looked at the glowing crystal in his palm, then at Pip's sad face. His heart felt warm and fuzzy.

"You can have it," Leo said, holding out his hand.

Pip gasped. "Really? But it's so rare and beautiful!"

"You need it more than me," Leo smiled. "And I think we're friends now. Friends help each other."

Pip ate the star vitamin and—whoosh!—her wings sparkled even brighter. "Thank you, Leo! You're the best friend ever!"

She flew around him, leaving trails of glitter. "Come with me! I want to show you something!"

Pip led Leo to a secret cove where hundreds of star vitamins glowed like tiny suns. "This is where they grow! Take some home—your palm will always glow when you need magic!"

Leo filled his pockets with the sparkling vitamins. But instead of keeping them all, he ran back to the beach and left handfuls for other children to find.

"Why give them away?" Pip asked.

"Because magic is better when shared," Leo said. "Just like friendship."

Pip hugged Leo's cheek. "You're the wisest human I've ever met!"

From that day on, Leo's palm glowed faintly whenever a friend needed help. And somewhere in the Cloud Kingdom, Pip told everyone about the generous boy who taught her that the real magic wasn't in star vitamins—it was in kindness.

Every child who found a star vitamin that day felt the same warmth in their palm, and they all became friends too. The end.
