The Palm-Sized Lightning Pyramid
Sam loved discovering secrets. One rainy afternoon, while exploring his grandmother's dusty attic, he found something extraordinary—a tiny crystal pyramid no bigger than his thumb.
When he placed the pyramid in his palm, it began to glow warmly. Lightning flashed outside the attic window, and suddenly Sam could hear tiny voices! They were lightning beetles—magical creatures who rode lightning bolts to help plants grow all over the world.
"We've lost our way home!" squeaked the smallest beetle, whose wings sparkled like tiny stars. "Our secret pyramid in the clouds disappeared, and now we're stuck!"
Sam knew what he had to do. He grabbed his backpack and started running through the storm, following the glowing trail of lightning beetles. His heart pounded with excitement as they led him to an ancient oak tree at the edge of town.
There, nestled in the tree's highest branches, was a magnificent pyramid made entirely of solidified lightning! But it had gone dark.
"You're a spy for nature now," whispered the beetles. "Only someone with a kind heart can relight our home."
Sam pressed his palm against the dark pyramid and whispered, "I promise to protect all living things."
CRACK! The biggest lightning bolt yet struck the pyramid, and it blazed to life with rainbow-colored light. All the lightning beetles cheered and spiraled up into the clouds, leaving Sam with a special gift—a tiny lightning-shaped mark on his palm that still glows when rain is coming.
Now whenever Sam sees lightning, he waves hello to his beetle friends, knowing that even the smallest person can make the biggest difference.
