The Palm of the Orange Pyramid

Leo loved visiting his grandmother's house. But today, something magical happened.

In the middle of her living room, a tiny palm tree had sprung up through the wooden floorboards. Its green leaves sparkled like emeralds in the sunlight.

"Grandma!" Leo called. "There's a tree in your house!"

Grandma chuckled, her wild white hair dancing around her head like a fluffy cloud. "Oh, that's just the beginning, Leo. Hold out your palm."

Leo held out his hand, and Grandma placed something small and round into it - an orange. But not just any orange. This one glowed with a warm, golden light.

"Watch," she whispered.

Suddenly, the orange floated upward. It spun around and around, leaving trails of glitter behind it. Then, POP! The orange transformed into a miniature golden pyramid right there in the living room!

The pyramid began to grow. Taller and taller it rose, until its tip touched the ceiling. Then, with a flash of rainbow light, a door appeared in its side.

"Inside," Grandma said, taking Leo's hand, "is where kindness lives."

Together they stepped through the door into a magical room filled with laughing children and friendly animals. Everyone was sharing and helping each other.

"The orange gave us this gift," Grandma explained, "because you always share your toys with others. Kindness creates magic."

Leo looked at the glowing pyramid walls. "So every time I'm kind, more magic happens?"

"Exactly," Grandma said, hugging him. "And that's the greatest magic of all."

When they returned to the living room, the palm tree was gone. But Leo's palm still tingled with warmth, and he knew that real magic wasn't in trees or pyramids or glowing oranges. The real magic was in kindness - and that was something he could carry with him always.

That night, Leo dreamed of palm trees and pyramids, and woke up knowing exactly what to do: share his favorite toy with the new girl at school. And somehow, he knew, that was the most magical choice of all.
