The Padel Court Mystery
Luna loved playing padel with her grandpa every Saturday. The sport was like tennis, but with a glass court and special walls that the ball could bounce off. Thwack! The blue ball would zip through the air, and Luna would sprint to hit it back.
One morning, while chasing a ball near the fence, Luna noticed something shiny half-buried in the dirt. She dug carefully with her fingers and pulled out a small golden pyramid no bigger than her thumb. It sparkled in the sunlight and had tiny mysterious symbols carved into each side.
"What have you found, little spy?" Grandpa teased, walking over. He called Luna his "spy" because she always noticed things others missed.
"It's a pyramid, Grandpa! Look at the symbols!"
That night, Luna placed the pyramid on her nightstand. Moonlight streamed through her window, and suddenly, the pyramid began to glow! The symbols lit up one by one, and a tiny door appeared on its side.
Out stepped a miniature person no taller than Luna's pencil!
"Hello," the tiny person said. "I'm Zara, guardian of the lost toys. You found our home!"
Luna gasped. "You live inside the pyramid?"
"It's a magical pyramid," Zara explained. "We travel from playground to playground, fixing broken toys and returning lost treasures. But we need help. Our door is stuck, and we can't get back inside!"
Luna carefully helped Zara and the other tiny people back into their pyramid home. In return, they showed her something amazing — through a special lens in the pyramid, she could see all the lost toys in the neighborhood waiting to be found.
The next day, Luna and Grandpa found three lost balls, two missing jump ropes, and a teddy bear that had been under a bush for months.
"You really are a wonderful spy," Grandpa said, ruffling her hair.
Luna smiled, keeping her golden pyramid secret. She learned that magic could be anywhere — even in a padel court — and that helping others, no matter how small, was the greatest adventure of all.
Every Saturday, Luna still played padel with Grandpa. But now, she always kept her eyes open. You never knew what magic might be hiding, just waiting to be found by someone curious enough to look.
