The Paddle That Sailed on Clouds

Luna discovered the old wooden paddle hidden in her grandmother's attic. It shimmered with an odd blue glow, and the word "padel" was carved into its handle in swirling golden letters.

"What does this do?" Luna whispered, running her fingers along the smooth wood.

Outside, raindrops pattered against the window. Something magical pulled her toward the garden. Luna dipped the paddle into a puddle—and suddenly, she wasn't standing on grass anymore. She was floating on the puddle as if it were a vast ocean!

The paddle glowed brighter. Luna steered through droplets that sparkled like diamonds. She sailed higher and higher until she broke through the clouds and discovered a secret kingdom in the sky.

"Hello!" squeaked a tiny cloud creature with rainbow stripes. "I'm Nimbus! Are you lost?"

"I think I'm on an adventure," Luna said, smiling. She knew she had found a new friend.

Nimbus showed her the Crystal Gardens, where glowing fruits grew on silver branches. "These are sky vitamins," Nimbus explained. "One bite gives you the power of flight! But only those with pure hearts can reach them."

Luna thought of her little brother Toby, who couldn't run like other children. She picked three fruits—the color of sunset magic.

"Wait!" Nimbus cried. "Those are rare!"

"My brother needs magic more than I do," Luna said simply.

The paddle pulsed with warm light, and suddenly Luna understood. The real magic wasn't in the sky vitamins at all. It was in kindness.

She sailed home on rainbows, her heart full. When she gave Toby the fruit, he didn't just fly—he danced.

That night, Luna tucked the paddle under her bed. Some magic was meant to be shared, and the best adventures always lead back home to the people you love.
