The Orange Water Mystery

Lily loved being a spy. Every Saturday, she grabbed her magnifying glass and notebook to solve nature's biggest mysteries. Today, she crept through the tall grass near the babbling brook, her detective hat pulled low.

Something strange was happening by the water. Lily peered through her magnifying glass. There, hopping slowly across a mossy rock, was the grumpiest zombie frog she had ever seen. Its green skin looked pale and droopy, and it moved at a snail's pace.

"What's wrong, little friend?" Lily whispered.

The frog let out a tiny croak that sounded like a rusty door hinge. Lily's grandma had told her about special vitamins that make you strong. Maybe the frog needed some too!

Lily reached into her pocket and pulled out the perfect orange she had saved for her snack. It was bright and round, like a tiny sun. Carefully, she squeezed a drop of sweet orange juice into a clean leaf cup and added fresh water from the brook.

"Drink this," she said gently.

The zombie frog lapped up the orange water. Suddenly—KABOING!—the frog jumped straight up in the air! Its green skin turned bright and shiny, and its eyes sparkled like tiny stars.

"Thank you!" ribbited the frog, now dancing on the rock. "The orange magic was exactly what I needed!"

Lily smiled and added a new entry to her notebook: 'Today I learned that the best spies don't just watch—they help friends in need. And sometimes, an orange and a little water can make magic happen.'

From that day on, Lily and her frog friend had many more adventures together. Because real spies know that friendship is the greatest mystery of all.
