The Orange Tiger's Secret
Lila loved exploring the forest behind her house. Every morning after breakfast, she would wave goodbye to her mother and go **running** through the tall pine trees, her boots crunching happily on the fallen leaves.
One Tuesday, something extraordinary happened. As Lila chased a blue butterfly deeper into the woods than she had ever gone before, she stumbled upon a clearing she had never seen. In the center sat the most magnificent creature she could imagine—a tiger with fur the color of a sunset, striped with gold.
But this wasn't a scary tiger. When Lila approached cautiously, the tiger smiled kindly and offered her a piece of fruit from a nearby tree.
"It's a magic **orange**," the tiger said in a voice like warm honey. "One bite will show you what makes you special."
Lila took a bite. Suddenly, she saw golden light swirling around her hands. "What makes these magic?" she asked.
The tiger's eyes twinkled. "Every **vitamin** inside is like a tiny helper. Some make you strong, some help you see in the dark, and some—these are the most special ones—fill you with kindness and courage. The magic happens when you share them."
Lila looked at the remaining orange slices and thought of her friend Leo, who had been feeling sad lately. She carefully wrapped them in a leaf.
"Can I share these with Leo?" she asked.
The tiger purred with delight. "That's the real secret, Lila. Magic only grows when it's shared."
Lila ran all the way back, her heart full of wonder. She found Leo sitting alone on his porch and sat beside him, offering the orange slices. As they ate together, laughing in the sunshine, Lila understood—the best magic wasn't in the fruit at all. It was in friendship, in sharing, and in kindness.
From that day on, Lila still went running through the forest, but now she always brought something back to share. And sometimes, if she looked very carefully, she could see a flash of golden fur between the trees, and she knew the orange tiger was smiling.
