"My people built something wonderful long ago," he explained, pointing to a thick, glowing cable that stretched from the ocean floor all the way up, up, up toward the surface. "This magic cable connects our underwater kingdom to the world above. But it's been lonely here for so long."

Lily's eyes widened. "Can I help?"

"Hold onto the cable, and think about someone you'd like to visit," Coral Bull said.

Lily gripped the warm, humming cable and thought of her grandmother who lived far away. WHOOSH! She was suddenly looking through her grandmother's window, seeing her smiling face! The cable wasn't just any cable—it was a friendship bridge between worlds!
