The Orange Sphinx's Magical Pool

Lily loved exploring her grandmother's backyard, especially on hot summer days. Today, something glittered near the old oak tree. She knelt down and found an orange that glowed like a tiny sunset. But when she picked it up, it wasn't fruit at all—it was a small, orange sphinx no bigger than her hand!

"Greetings, young adventurer," the sphinx chirped in a voice like bells. "I am Zara, guardian of the Magic Pool. But I've lost my powers!"

Lily's eyes widened. "Magic Pool? Where?"

Zara pointed her paw toward the garden pond. "That pool was once filled with enchanted water. But someone dropped something terrible in it—modern magic from an iphone that doesn't belong here! Now the water is cloudy, and I can't fly home."

Lily peeked into the pool. Sure enough, something shiny rested at the bottom. She reached in—her fingers brushed something smooth and cold.

"It's an iphone!" she gasped, pulling it out. The screen flickered with strange symbols.

"That's it!" Zara cheered. "Quick now—shake those special vitamin drops from your pocket into the water!"

Lily didn't have vitamin drops, but she remembered her grandmother's garden shed. She sprinted back with a bottle of orange vitamin C tablets.

"Will this work?"

"Drop them in!" Zara commanded.

Lily tossed three orange tablets into the pool. Bubbles rose like tiny balloons. The water turned from gray to sparkling gold, then back to crystal clear. Suddenly, Zara began to grow—bigger and bigger until she was the size of a real lion!

"You saved me!" Zara nuzzled Lily's cheek with her soft nose. "The orange vitamins were just what I needed—full of sunshine and goodness!"

"What happens now?" Lily asked.

Zara smiled mysteriously. "Now, I grant you one wish."

Lily thought carefully. She didn't wish for toys or candy. "I wish that every time someone needs courage, they'll remember that even small things—like a tiny sphinx or a simple vitamin—can make big magic happen."

Zara roared with happiness, and golden sparkles filled the air. "A wise wish!" She dove into the now-shimmering pool and disappeared in a splash of rainbow.

Lily found the iphone gone too. In its place floated a single orange vitamin that glowed with golden light. She pocketed it, knowing that magic was real, and kindness was the strongest spell of all.
